Send Karen a message.I have been a successful Realtor with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage for more than 25 years. In 2010 I joined Windermere Real Estate, currently the largest brokerage in the Coachella Valley with over 700 Agents.
Being able to listen to people and match them with the right property is what I am known for. This talent for matching people and property has resulted in successful sales from condos to luxury homes throughout the desert including Palm Springs, Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, and La Quinta.
The desert has been my home for most of my adult life and I have seen the enormous changes throughout the Coachella Valley. I love showing property and welcoming my clients to a piece of paradise. With our gorgeous 125+ golf courses, beautiful estate properties, gated condominiums and countless other opportunities, it is an amazing high to see the look of the Buyer when they say “this is it.”
It is equally satisfying to work with a Seller. I have developed a process to help make the home more saleable including the use of staging and virtual tours. My Hi Tech marketing plan includes exposing the listing to numerous internet websites and social networking sites.
I pride myself in honesty, integrity, knowledge, and a genuine caring approach with my clients. I approach every buyer or seller with a lot of enthusiasm for what I can do to help them.
One of my proudest moments was receiving the designation of Certified Residential Specialist. The Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) is the highest designation awarded to sales associates in the residential sales field. The CRS Designation recognizes professional accomplishments in both experience and education.
I live with my husband Riemer Haagsma, on a nine-acre ranch, nestled into the hills, surrounded by over 250 pine and eucalyptus trees. I am an avid health and fitness enthusiast and love riding my two quarter horses when I am not selling real estate. My husband and I are animal lovers having rescued 4 of our 5 dogs. I know they enjoy the freedom of country living.
