I have noticed over the years that the resort area of Palm Springs does not always follow the real estate trends of other parts of the country in the same time frame.  Although we have experienced the economic downturn in the valley during the past few years, we are currently seeing an increase in sales activity as well as Sellers pricing their property closer to the current fair market value.  Since we are a resort community, of course we draw Buyers from all over the country, who are looking for the great deal. Just last week our company sold over $15 million in the City of Palm Springs. This is one week and one city!  This doesn't include the other desert cities.  I have personally had one of the best summers in sales.  It is nice to pass on positive news!
